Puppy Two: Advanced Obedience Training For Puppies
Class Description
Puppy Two is an in-person puppy group class that picks up where Puppy One leaves off.
This puppy class provides an opportunity for puppies to reach a higher level of obedience, strengthen their learned behaviors, and increase the reliability of their responses to learned verbal cues.
Puppies in the class will learn to respond reliably to previously learned verbal cues despite: longer distances, greater distractions, and increased duration of behaviors.
Puppies in this class also get more training on heeling and walking on a loose leash, stay, advanced place training, impulse control (leave it/drop it) and reliable recall (coming when called).
This class has everything you need to take your puppy's training to the next level and out into the real world.
Class Pre-requisites
Attendance and Completion of 'Puppy One: Foundational Obedience Training For Puppies' or equivalent class/training
Puppies with prior private training require assessment by class instructor to join.
Age Requirements
Puppies should be 4 months to 12 months old to join the class.
Vaccination Requirements
Completed Distemper & Parvo vaccines AT LEAST 7 days prior to the first meeting.
Bordetella (Kennel cough) and Canine Influenza Virus H3N2/H3N8 vaccines are recommended, but not required. Please consult your veterinarian.
