Adolescent Basic Obedience

If your puppy is 5 to 12 months old, it’s not too late to create a solid foundation.

There is no need to feel FOMO, your puppy can learn the essential beginning obedience cues as an adolescent and go from brat to brilliant!  This course is perfect for rescues and other pups who did not get the benefit of learning obedience skills in a class setting by 16 weeks of age.

During this course, you and your pup will learn and begin to master:

Sitting and Laying Down on Cue

Stay, Wait (doggy patience)

Recall (coming when called)

Settle (For a chill, relaxed dog)

as well as the Impulse Control and Focus skills of

Watch (For when you need their attention)

Touch (to lead)

Loose Leash Walking (for happier walks without pulling)

Leave It (because dogs like street trash)

With a laid back atmosphere and approach that is accepting of mistakes and different learning curves, you and your dog can reduce the frustration often associated with training an older puppy and have fun with your training.

Adolescent Basic Obedience will help you create a better relationship with your dog as you work together learning to communicate for a harmonious life together inside and outside of your home.
